Overview
We hope this section of the Sunderland Ward website will be a resource of information for all ward members. Here you will find all the latest announcements and calendar of events as well all other useful amounts of information from all the ward auxillaries. Utilising internet technology we are able to give you more extensive and up-to-date information than contained in 'INFOsun' the new Sunderland Ward magazine.
The easiest and quickest way to access the Member Zone is to just to go to www.sunderlandward.co.uk and then click on the link in the top right-hand corner. This saves you having to remember a long website address. Alternatively if you press CTRL+D (Internet Explorer / Firefox) you can save this page as a favourite to return back easily.
Ultimately we hope to make this ward website and magazine as a useful tool for you the Ward. If there is anything you would like to add just send us an email: sunderlandward@googlemail.com.

Features and Content
This new website design contains a large number of design features and layout styles as well as support the embedding of photos, audio and video content. What this means is that this website should be easy to use and effectively allow you access to a variety of content regarding the Sunderland Ward and its Auxillaries.
The success and effectiveness of this website depends upon YOU the Ward Member. As you will see from the tabs above each there is a section for each ward auxillary. Here auxillary leaders can place information, documents, photos or overall anything specific to your auxillary that will assist your work. If you would like to add anything to this website or to your auxillary section just send an email with the information. There is no specific deadline for submission to this website as any information will be uploaded at the earliest convenience. However if you have anything time critical please make sure that you send the information well in advance of the date. If nothing happens when you click on one of the auxillaries from the 'Auxillary Section' tab above this means that there is currently no information from that auxillary.
INFOsun Magazine
For submission of articles to 'INFOsun' the Sunderland Ward magazine the deadline will be the LAST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH at the close of Church 1pm. This is going to be a strict deadline so any article missing this deadline will be entered the following month. In order to keep the effectiveness of the magazine, please keep any submitted articles to a minimum. This will not only help keep the magazine clear, concise and overall easy to read, but also allow each auxillary to have an opportunity to enter articles if needed. There is currently no limit on information, however I would ask that you keep to 300 words or less - this may become an enforced limitation at a later date if it is regularly exceeded. If you require further space you can always direct members to your auxillary section of the website - there are currently no limits on how many articles or amount of information you can add to your auxillary section.
